WHAT TO BRING
Our first recommendation would be to pack light .There will be circumstances where you will be required to carry your own luggage although never for along period. Travelling with a backpack is the most suitable and preferred option (and the easiest!) smaller suitcases with wheels is acceptable. A day/overnight bag to carry water, camera's, etc would also be advisable.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is compulsory for all Alby Adventure trips.You will NOT be able to commence a trip until proof of travel insurance has been sighted by the tour leader.  As a minimum we require medical coverage for all medical expenses but would strongly recommend you take out a policy that covers cancellation, personal liability, curtailment and loss of luggage. If you have credit card insurance the leader still requires to see proof of purchase with the credit card in your name. Contact your bank for their Insurers details, your level of coverage and a emergency telephone number.

VISA
Cambodian visas are easy to obtain can be issued upon arrival at the airport or if your travelling overland from Thailand at the Aranyapathet-Poipet Border, Trat - Koh Kong Border of Thailand and the Moc Bai - Bavet border of Vietnam. E Visa's can now also be obtained online.
Visa requirements;
 - 1 passport photo
 - 25 US Dollars (or 1000 Thai Baht when coming overland. Cheaper in US Dollars!)
 - Passport validity of more than six months
MONEY
US Dollars is the easiest to use and the most common currency in Cambodia. ATM machines are everywhere in major cities and give out US Dollars. Travellers checks can be very difficult to change and i'd only recommend them as back up. Major international currencies may be exchanged in main cities where MASTERCARD and VISA cash advances are possible.
HEALTH
While our adventures are not overly demanding, you should be in excellent health with at least some basic fitness. Cambodia at certain times of the year can be very warm and humid. We are not in a position to give you medical advice so please consult your doctor for vaccinations and other medical requirements for your trip.
NEW FRIENDS
You have book a group tour so you will be exposed to all the highs and the occasional low that come from such travel. On a whole you will be meeting like minded travellers from all over the globe that adds a little extra dimension to the experience. Age groups can vary and sometimes a little patience is required but overall it's good times, happy days, where lifelong memories and friendships are made.
