(Drinking and smoking isn't tolerated in most churches were i was from!) 3- Make a effort to learn some of the local language! Even if it's just hello and thank you . You will get an instant smile and appreciative laugh from the locals, helping making your holiday a truly memorable experience. 4- Find out a little about the country before you arrive. There is no exam but it will make your holiday A+ experience! 5- Buy, shop and support local products/organizations. 6- Always ask before taking photo's (show them the picture afterwards for a great response..especially from the kids!) 7- Lead by example.. Putting rubbish in bins, say "No" to plastic bags, using a refillable water bottle and disposing of cigarette butts correctly. 8- Smile.. It's free and contagious!
